In PU & Composites, our R&D labs, located in Italy, Japan, and the USA, are at the forefront of polyurethane foaming, composite material molding, thermoforming, molds, and industrial automation. These labs offer clients access to cutting-edge machinery and skilled personnel to conduct trials, helping transform innovative ideas into patents every year.
In the industrial boilers sector, our R&D team focuses on heat exchange, combustion, and heat pump technology. We are pioneering systems that reduce NOx and CO2 emissions by incorporating “greenhouse gas-neutral fuels” like hydrogen. Recently, we successfully developed a hydrogen-powered boiler that eliminates CO2 emissions and can seamlessly transition from natural gas without sacrificing efficiency.
Our water treatment R&D team specializes in developing customized pilot plants, focusing on energy transition and markets like Pharma and Energy. By collaborating with universities and publishing in international journals, they merge scientific research with practical solutions to tackle complex industry challenges.
The AI & Industrial Automation experts concentrate on hardware and software development, plant and system integration, and specialized engineering services. Their innovations automate various Cannon technologies, streamlining processes for maximum efficiency.
Finally, our R&D team actively contributes to projects funded by the European Commission and United Nations, developing groundbreaking solutions like returning unrecyclable materials to the production process and increasing the insulative properties of rigid foam panels to meet strict energy efficiency standards.
